Strengthening EO education across Europe through expert-led online courses, immersive in‑person workshops, and hands‑on challenges in satellite data, systems, and applications.

The ESA EO Training Academy is a European Space Agency–funded initiative coordinated by Charles University in collaboration with the University of Ljubljana, Ruhr University Bochum, Eurisy, and Ignite Education Institute. Together, the partners aim to expand and strengthen Earth Observation (EO) education across Europe. The Academy delivers expert-led training through in-person courses, webinars, learning challenges, and an online platform, focusing on how satellites observe and analyse the land, ocean, and atmosphere. It is designed for students, professionals, and educators who want to build skills in using EO data for science, policy, and innovation.
