Research Interests

I’m interested in the functioning and management of riparian zones and freshwater ecosystems. I work in natural and (highly) modified systems and especially focus on vegetation dynamics, flow regulation and river restoration questions.

Feel free to contact me if you want to write a bachelor’s or master’s theses on one of these or a related topic.
