The RePIC Urban Sustainability Transformations Research Forum will take place in the winter term 2026/27 and focuses on current questions of sustainable, resilient and smart urban transformations. Topics include post-industrial cities, transformative governance, urban resilience, migration, health, culture, mobility, as well as new forms of urban communication and planning. The forum brings together contributions from lecturers and experts from RePIC partner universities and other institutions, creating space for interdisciplinary exchange and discussion.
The public lectures take place on Tuesdays from 12:15 to 14:00 in building UFO, room 0/10. Everyone interested is warmly invited to attend the lecture sessions and join the discussions.
The programme is complemented by several on-site visits, including visits to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zollverein, Hansa Coking Plant (IGA Zukunftsgarten) and the Be-MoVe Real-World Laboratory for sustainable mobility. Please note: these excursions are reserved for RePIC students only and are not open to the public.
