The students are given an overview of the job market as well as internship offers and experiences by fellow graduates. This allows them to competently select an institution for their own 8-week professional internship.
In the colloquium, students present their experiences from the professional internships and alumni of the Institute of Geography report on their professional careers. The 8-week professional internship can be completed at an institution of one's choice from the private sector, public administrations or independent organisations. Instead of an internship, a completed vocational training is also recognised.
