Are you considering writing your Bachelor's or Master's thesis in the field of ecology? Then get in touch with us. Please note, however, that we can only accept a certain number of theses per semester in order to guarantee a high quality of supervision. For a list of tentative topics and ongoing Bachelor's and Master's theses, please see the German version of this page or contact us. Theses might as well be written in English language.

Since winter semester 25/26, we are organizing the Master's colloquium together with the Bochum Urban Climate Lab and the Soil Science and Soil Resources group. The colloquium takes place on Tuesdays from 4 to 6 pm, but only during the lecture period. There are two types of presentations:

Concept presentation: 15 min. + discussion

Results presentation: 20 min. + discussion

Please remember to register early for the presentations on your Master's thesis! Registration for the colloquia in all disciplines is done by e-mail to chris.kaiser@ruhr-uni-bochum.de. Current dates, time and room can be found in the calendar below.
